The title of my class’s senior exhibition was Experimentation. As a class we decided on this title because we felt as though Rutgers experimented on our class with new teachers and programs while we all also thought experimentation was a crucial step in our design process. We experimented with various grids, colors, styles, typographic approaches, etc so when I was chosen to create the poster and handout for the show, my goal was to try to show as much experimentation as possible. I experimented with type through hand made letterforms and mixing typefaces such as Univers and Rockwell. I also experimented with imagery by using photography and illustration.
