Since the launch of the Windows Phone, Microsoft has had a renaissance in Design. This rebirth came in the form of the Metro Design Language, a set of design rules and guidelines that Microsoft has embraced throughout all of their products. This book I created came from a paper I wrote about how Microsoft’s new approach fit in the history of the Graphical User Interface or GUI. The book itself not only explains Metro but I also tried to follow their guidelines as much as I could to show it off.
